The mecca of comics – Comic-Con International in San Diego took place last week and for the thirty-third year in a row, Shi-creator Billy Tucci and Crusade Comics were a force on the floor. With SDCC over, Crusade is now offering their limited-edition exclusives for the world’s greatest comic convention at their web store.

For the first time ever, Crusade is offering Special 2026 SDCC Blind Bag Bundle Packs for both comics and prints. The exclusives will be as follows: The Ran: Revenge of the Warrior #1 (of 2) Pure Line Edition (limited to 99 signed copies, $25), the striking Ran: Rai Homage Foil Edition (limited to 40 signed number copies, $60) and the ultra-rare Ran: Black Metal Special (actual stainless-steel cover and limited to just 10 signed and numbered editions, $115). Comic-Con International in San Diego is now in the books and was one for the ages! The world’s greatest comic, media, gaming and pop-culture convention celebrated 53 years with over 175,000 attendees, exhibitors and guests. As always, Shi-creator Billy Tucci and the entire Crusade Comics crew were set up at booth at their renowned con-floor stopover booth1801, with Billy and Deborah Tucci welcoming many fans and pros alike.

This year’s SDCC was incredibly successful for the Long Island based publisher with fans the world over clamoring for exclusive special editions, blind bags, prints and original artwork. RAN: REVENGE OF THE WARRIOR IS BEING PRINTED!

To celebrate Crusade’s latest graphic novel, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior #1 being printed, Billy and Deborah Tucci along with fan favorites, Aaron Lopresti and Andy Smith were hosted to an amazing dinner at chef Brian Malarkey’s incredible Herb & Wood restaurant by Josten Printing’s Jenebeth Ortiz. Thank you, Jenebeth for always looking out for your creators and being the consummate professional!

Billy and Deborah Tucci were also a part of two panels, “The Comic Book Couples” featuring Amanda Conner, Francisca Pulido, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Brian Pulido. The panel focused on what it’s like to be married to a comic book creator and was moderated by Steven Peros and Deana Ruggieri and “Bring on the Bad Girls!” Featuring Billy, Jimmy Palmiotti, Brian Pulido and Matt Hawkins.  

Always, amongst SDCC’s favorite events, the panels were full of memories, laughs and a look into the future.
