Billy Tucci’s 2001 poignant illustration, now issued as a special 25th Anniversary Memorial Print benefiting the American Legion, captures the weight and the will of September 11 with unflinching honesty. A lone FDNY firefighter stands amid twisted stee, his weathered face set in grim resolve as a tattered American flag defiantly still flies. 

A.W. “Smokey” Linn’s Fireman’s Prayer is lettered in full—an appeal for strength to save lives of every age, for alertness in the smoke, and for God’s protection of family should the firefighter himself fall. 

Tucci’s art is somber in its wreckage and its weary hero, yet powerful in the unbowed stance, the surviving flag, and the prayer’s quiet vow to forever answer the call. 

Twenty-five years later the print remains both memorial and statement: the victims are remembered, the heroes’ duty endures, and honors that same spirit of service through our veterans and current warfighters.

Each print measures 11” X 17” and ships flat in polymer protective sleeve and heavy cardboard envelope. Portions of all proceeds will be donated to the local American Legion.

A huge thank you to each one of you for supporting our very first (and delightfully short) Zoop campaign! Your faith has surpassed all our expectations. We came in just $64.00 shy of an amazing total of $30,000.00 in just 21 days! All omnibuses that need to be signed, have been and they, along with the unsigned editions are safely at the Zoop warehouse.
