PLEDGE FOR THE CHARACTER THAT INSPIRED HIS DEBUT GRAPHIC NOVEL HERE http://kck.st/3KbD4xM

Billy Tucci’s latest graphic novel, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior Kickstarter Exclusive continues to light up the crowdfunding world as fans from over 20 countries have propelled the 21-day campaign’s first five days returns to over $30,000.00 and 600% over its initial funding goal.
That is phenomenal news according to Tucci, what’s got him even more excited is the fact that one of his comic book heroes, the legendary Walter Simonson has graciously contributed his talents to a special Ran wraparound cover. Exclusive to the campaign, Walter’s Ran is digitally painted by artist-extraordinaire Dan Lawlis, features a stunning wraparound portrait surrounded by a flowing mane of hair and wielding steel.

“One of the highlights of my career is befriending comics reigning king and queen, Walter and Louise Simonson.” Stated Tucci. “The adage is to never to meet your heroes, but in the case of the Simonsons, it is the complete opposite. Their contributions literally turned a page in comics history, by creating some of the greatest characters and storylines, while their generosity and goodwill towards fandom have made them ambassadors of the highest order.”

Weezie and Walter Simonson have selflessly contributed thousands to charity including veterans Garden State Comic Fest.
“It is truly an honor and a fanboy’s dream to have Walt render one of my creations in such a gorgeously striking fashion.” Continued Tucci. “Now add Dan’s colors to this wraparound cover and we now have our Ran’s Kickstarter’s crème-de-la-crème.”
Crusade Comics is also offering very limited premium foil and stainless steel-covered special Ran: Revenge of the Warrior editions to the campaign.
