Coffin Comics is excited to announce the debut of the brand-new Coffin Launch, set to premiere on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM MST. This exclusive platform will coincide with the release of the highly anticipated Lady Death: Savage Reign graphic novel campaign, marking the beginning of a new era for Coffin Comics’ fan-focused campaigns.
Known for its successful crowdfunding campaigns on external platforms, Coffin Comics is now transitioning to a fully integrated, in-house pre-order system to offer a more streamlined experience for backers. By moving away from third-party sites, Coffin Comics aims to reduce costs for supporters, enhance customer’s experience, and accelerate delivery times for backers.

Coffin Launch registration will open on January 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM MST. Current customers of Coffin Comics Shop will have their accounts automatically migrated to the new platform. In less than two weeks, Billy Tucci’s twenty-eight-day Shi: Gatecrasher Kickstarter has steadily become Crusade Comics’ fastest ever crowdfunding opening. The Long Island based publisher’s 11th Kickstarter launched to a blazing start as funding nears $80,000.00 in gross returns.
Shi: Gatecrasher, is a 56-page, full-color, original graphic novel that finds Tucci’s sensual Sohei trapped in comic book time where she, (along with RAN, Tucci’s original interpretation of Shi) battles through comics’ colorful history, decades, genres and trends… and along for the ride is none other than Brian Pulido’slegendary Lady Death!

Total returns for Shi: Gatecrasher on both Indiegogo and Kickstarter stands just shy of $170,000.00. Following Crusade Comics’ #NoFanLeftBehind campaign partnership policy, backers from both Indiegogo and Kickstarter mutually benefit and receive all Gatecrasher announced free stretch goals.

Crusade has more Stretch Goal Reward planned and announced its latest, the Ran Original Design Trading Card. The illustration dates from 1991 and is Billy Tucci’s first interpretation of the character that eventually became Shi.

About Billy Tucci
Inkpot Award recipient Billy Tucci is a cartoonist best known for his modern-day samurai saga Shi.
